JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Electrician to support our overnight operations by ensuring the reliability and performance of critical manufacturing equipment. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional with strong troubleshooting abilities and experience in industrial electrical systems, automation, and controls.

You’ll play a key role in minimizing downtime, improving equipment performance, and supporting a safe and efficient production environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electrical issues in accordance with established codes, standards, and best practices
  • Perform advanced troubleshooting on industrial equipment, including CNC machinery and robotic systems
  • Analyze equipment failures and implement effective, long-term solutions
  • Troubleshoot and modify PLC systems, including ladder logic, using diagnostic software and tools
  • Maintain and repair solid-state devices and integrated control systems
  • Support and execute repairs independently, while also providing guidance to team members when needed
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance
  • Respond to production needs with a sense of urgency to minimize downtime
  • Step into a leadership role during the shift when supervisors are not present

What You Bring

  • Strong background in industrial electrical systems, automation, CNC, and robotics
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot complex electrical and control systems
  • Working knowledge of electrical theory and formulas as applied in a manufacturing setting
  • Experience with PLCs and ladder logic programming and diagnostics
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset
  • Flexibility to work overtime as needed to support production demands
  • Consistent attendance and reliability

QUALIFICATIONS & EDUCATION:

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or 5+ years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

You should be proficient in:

  • Electrical Troubleshooting Skills
  • Industrial Electrical Experience
