We are currently looking for a full-time Craftsman (Electrician) to join our Matthews, NC team.

- Repair and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment
- Troubleshoot and solve work-related problems.
- Able to read and understand electrical and mechanical blueprints
- Knowledge using CMMS Software
- Implement the preventive maintenance program for production machinery and equipment as directed by the Manager
- Performing routine preventive maintenance
- Maintaining the building equipment
- Basic knowledge of calibrations
- Assist in project work as assigned.
- Understands and applies applicable quality system procedures.
- References quality system documentation as appropriate.
- Fix potential safety hazards to avoid injuries
- Follows safety practices and maintains housekeeping standards.

- Knowledge and use of electronic systems such as Prism, Wonderware, SharePoint, and email.

- Prolonged periods standing, kneeling, bending, and climbing ladders or scaffolding. Able to crawl under space and confine space
- Good hand/eye coordination.

- Self-motivator; ability to work with limited supervision.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Must be able to work in a team environment Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a craftsman, electromechanics, or maintenance technician experience
- Board certification or equivalent experience in one or more of the following fields: electrical wiring, welding, HVAC maintenance, pipe fitting, or hydraulics.
- Excellent skill in all major areas of mechanical and/or electrical maintenance.
- Excellent skill in the repair of production equipment mechanical problems
- Excellent skill in milling of metals, servicing of boilers, mechanical troubleshooting and/or electrical troubleshooting, compressed air equipment, and painting.
- Thorough understanding of OSHA and EPA regulations as they pertain to plant operation and maintenance
- Good experience with plant safety and fire protection systems.
- Good experience using CMMS Software
