Job Overview:

POSITION SUMMARY

Reporting directly to the Maintenance Supervisor, the Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the administrative, technical, and analytical functions of the maintenance department. Key responsibilities include managing the internal work order system, overseeing inventory and the parts cage, maintaining departmental data, and coordinating waste and recycling services. This role provides critical support to plant operations and ensures the maintenance department runs efficiently.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work Order Management: Receive, review, and distribute daily work orders; ensure all documentation is completed and closed out within the internal system.
  • Inventory & Procurement: Research, order, and maintain safety stock levels for the tool crib and maintenance shop to ensure parts are available for routine and emergency repairs.
  • Data & Reporting: Generate reports on stock levels and work order metrics; maintain accurate data across internal spreadsheets and Smartsheet platforms.
  • Facilities & Compliance: Manage 5S standards and cleanliness for maintenance areas; monitor and coordinate pickups for recycling, HazMat, and waste materials while maintaining regulatory records.
  • Systems Monitoring: Maintain physical and digital records for critical systems, including generators, fuel supplies, and sprinkler systems.
  • Operational Support: Collaborate with production teams and assist with departmental tasks as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education & Experience: Associate degree or technical background preferred; 4+ years of industrial or commercial installation/integration experience.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel), Smartsheet, and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
  • Organizational Excellence: Highly detail-oriented with a proven ability to manage multiple simultaneous tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with a focus on internal customer service.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and maneuver objects weighing 40+ lbs.
  • Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills within a team-oriented setting.

  • 5% or less
