Maintenance Associate I|Covington, GA**|Hiring Immediately

Compensation:
- **Competitive starting pay range of **$28.13-$32.95-per hour, paid weekly
- Shift differential- $2.00
Available Shift:
- 2nd Shift
- 07:00 PM-07:00 AM
- 12 Hours
- 2-2-3
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities: **
- Perform various activities on equipment and machines including reassembling machines after the completion of repair or maintenance work;
- Start machines and observe mechanical operation to determine efficiency and to detect problems;
- Inspect or test damaged machine parts, and mark defective areas or advise supervisors of repair needs;
- Lubricate or apply other materials to machines, machine parts, or other equipment, according to specified procedures;
- Install, replace, or change machine parts and attachments according to production specifications.
- Read work orders and specifications to determine machines and equipment requiring repair or maintenance;
- Dismantle machines and remove parts for repair using hand tools.
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- High school graduate or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in a maintenance role in a manufacturing environment, working on production equipment.
- Applicants must be 18 years of age or older; criminal background checks and drug screening are required.
Physical Requirements/ Environmental/ Working Conditions:
- Must be able to acquire and maintain a lift truck license within 60 days of hire/promotion.
- Able to safely lift to 50 pounds.
- Able to safely work in a moderately conditioned, industrial process manufacturing environment
- Must be able to frequently climb 10-40 steps and occasionally climb 5-10 ladder rungs.
- Able to work in differing temperatures
- Non-traditional work schedules will be based on location needs or specific situations.
- Non-traditional work schedules will almost always be planned and coordinated in advance.

- Machine Building/Assembling
- Mechanical Troubleshooting Skills
- 120/208/240/480 Voltage Systems
- Plastic Extrusion Experience
- Thermoforming Experience
