This exciting position is with our historic Skunk Works program and will be based out of Palmdale, CA. Skunk Works is an integral part of Lockheed's Aeronautics business area responsible for advanced systems development including conceptual design and rapid prototyping of clean sheet solutions and improvements and derivatives to existing systems. The ideal skunk is an agile, multi-faceted teammate who loves to solve our customer's most difficult challenges. Some of our unclassified projects include the U-2, SR-71 Blackbird, F-22 Raptor, F-117 Nighthawk, and the F-35 Lightening II.

As a logistics technician, this person will be an integral member of the technical interface team, supporting the on-site Customer, resolving issues arising from operations and / or maintenance activities. Coordinate the Life Cycle Sustainment Management by providing logistical support to the program. This includes database management to include in-depth use and troubleshooting of relational databases. Daily tasks will include but are not limited to: (1) Database management / administration / tier 3 troubleshooting , (2) Working with field engineers, logistics / procurement personnel and subcontractors to ensure that the contractually delivered database system is fully operational 24/7/365, (3) Directly interfacing with internal and external customers at various levels to answer sustainment related questions, (4) Providing database training to maintenance and logistics personnel, (5) Performing data integrity audits, (6) Analyzing data and reporting / briefing performance metrics, (7) Evaluating compliance with customer security requirements.
The selected candidate must be willing to travel to and work in austere remote locations and accept assignment to locations for which selected, to support customer requirements.

Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid U.S. passport, accept customer furnished quarters and comply with mobility requirements such as chemical warfare training and receive applicable vaccinations, as well as pass an overseas physical.

Must be a US Citizen. This position is located in a facility that requires special access. In addition, the selected candidate will be subjected to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. The candidate must agree to and successfully pass a polygraph examination.
A current Top Secret clearance is required.

Basic Qualifications

- Experience with data manipulation
- Experience with maintenance and/or logistics transactions / interactions in an operational environment
- Experience developing, analyzing and reporting sustainment metrics
- Current active Top Secret clearance with investigation n the last 6 years

Desired skills

- Must be willing to adjust work hours to include weekend work to accommodate system updates and troubleshooting (as required)
- Previous back end experience with CAMS, IMDS, NALCOMIS, ALIS, IMIS or other Maintenance and Logistics systems
- Oracle experience (strongly desired)
- Aircraft Maintenance experience
- Multi-tasking skills and strong communications skills.
- Self-starter with the ability to make decisions using critical thinking
- Experience with MS Office Applications (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word)

Ability to work remotely

Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedule Information

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Security Clearance Information

This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Pay Rate:
In compliance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the annual base salary range for this position is $93,100 - $155,100 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and business considerations when extending an offer.
