Who will you be working with? You will be supporting our manufacturing operations by working with the engineering team and the production team to ensure routine and emergency maintenance are conducted safely and efficiently in accordance with manufacturers guidelines. You will be reporting to the Production Engineer.
Where is the position located? This is a Permanent Full-time position at Welshpool, WA
What will your typical day look like?
Maintain and service the Wastewater Treatment Plant to ensure compliance with environmental and safety standards.
Lubricate, oil, and apply adhesives or other materials to machines and equipment as per manufacturer specifications.
Install, replace, or modify machine parts and attachments following technical guidelines.
Repair or replace linings made of metal, wood, leather, glass, or other materials in equipment compartments or containers.
Dismantle and reassemble machinery using hand tools, chain falls, jacks, cranes, or hoists.
Clean machines and components using solvents, cloths, air guns, hoses, vacuums, or other cleaning equipment.
Remove hardened materials from machinery using abrasives, power tools, jackhammers, or sledgehammers.
Record and maintain accurate logs of production, repairs, and maintenance activities.
Measure, mix, prepare, and test chemical solutions used for cleaning or repairing equipment, in line with product specifications.
Carry out all duties as directed by the Production Manager, Site Manager, or Production Engineer in a safe and timely manner.
