Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machinist/Welder II to join our team at the Big River Plant. This role is vital to ensuring high-quality production and maintenance of parts through manual machining and welding. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, a hands-on approach, and a commitment to excellence.

ey Responsibilities

• Perform machine setups and manual machining operations to meet production specifications.

• Utilize tools such as manual lathes, micrometers, gauges, and other precision measurement equipment.

• Perform MIG welding tasks as required to fabricate or repair components.

• Troubleshoot equipment issues and implement solutions to minimize downtime.

• Maintain safety and quality standards while working on production tasks.

• Stand for extended periods and handle physically demanding tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• High proficiency in manual machining and troubleshooting machinery.

• Experience with tools such as manual lathes, MIG welding equipment, micrometers, and gauges.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical specifications.

• Comfortable standing for long periods and performing physically intensive work.
