Job Title: Machinist/ Welder

Responsibilities:
Read, write and speak English
Follow manufacturing/equipment specifications
Perform basic math calculations                                                                                                                                  Use blueprints and schematics
Use/understand measuring devices/tolerances                                                                                                          Use various hand and power tools
Learn and apply quality standards of workmanship/product
Use machine tools such as drills, lathes, millers etc.
To obtain forklift pallet-jack and/or man-lift license
 

Requirements:
A minimum of 3 years of experience in the Machinist trade is required. A minimum of 2 years welding experience using arc, mig, tig and Heliarc welders is required.

Must have experience fabricating parts using a lathe and milling machine. Must have experience using the tools of the trade including calipers, vernier and micrometer. Should work well with others and have communication and interpersonal skills. Should have analytical and problem solving skills. Should have a thorough knowledge of mechanical related production equipment.

Required to have own trade tools to perform required tasks.
