In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
  • Follow all safety policies and procedures. Stop work when unsafe conditions exist and immediately report safety concerns to leadership and/or EHS.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, routers, process documentation, and work instructions.
  • Verify revision levels and ensure compliance with all applicable drawings, specifications, and process documentation.
  • Perform dimensional inspections and make routine machine, tooling, offset, feed, and speed adjustments as required to maintain product conformance.
  • Independently set up and operate assigned CNC machining processes to meet safety, quality, delivery, and productivity requirements.
  • Perform machine setups and changeovers, including tooling installation, offsets, program verification, and first-piece validation.
  • Install, replace, and touch off inserts, drills, boring bars, saw blades, recess tools, guide bushings, collets, and other tooling as required.
  • Establish and adjust work, geometry, and wear offsets as required to maintain product quality and process stability.
  • Recover machines from broken tooling events and routine machine interruptions while maintaining product quality and production requirements.
  • Load and unload raw material and completed components as required to support production.
  • Operate multiple machines simultaneously while maintaining safety, quality, and production standards.
  • Identify, document, and properly disposition nonconforming material and scrap.
  • Perform daily TPM activities, including inspection, lubrication, fluid management, and routine equipment care to sustain machine reliability and performance.
  • Escalate programming, tooling, machine, and process issues beyond established procedures when additional technical support is required.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to safety, quality, delivery, cost, and equipment effectiveness.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and audit-ready work area through daily 5S activities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervision.

For This Role, You Will Need:
 
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience performing at a Machinist I level or equivalent CNC machining experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and process documentation.
  •  Experience using precision measuring equipment and performing machining calculations.
  • Working knowledge of CNC machine setup and operation
  • Ability to perform routine offset adjustments and basic feed and speed modifications to maintain quality and production requirements
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, routers, process documentation, and work instructions.
  • Ability to use precision measuring equipment including calipers, micrometers, depth micrometers, comparators, pitch micrometers, and other inspection tools.
  • Ability to effectively communicate quality concerns, production issues, and improvement opportunities with operators, leads, supervisors, engineering, and maintenance personnel.
