Location: Accuseal Houston, TX
Shift Days/Hours: 1st shift Monday - Friday 6:00 am - 2:30 pm.


POSITION SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE:

To have a basic understanding and knowledge in production equipment, skills and method of machine shop manufacturing.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Must be able to operate a CNC or manual machine with some supervision, guidance and assistance with setup and troubleshooting.
• To have a basic understanding and knowledge in machining, blueprint reading and programming.
• Verify quantities, raw stock dimensions, tooling and other critical aspects related to work orders.
• Meet production quality and quantities according to standard on shift.
• Build troubleshooting abilities and other machining skills throughout level one.
• Maintain a safe and clean work area.
• Perform other duties assigned by management.

Other Requirements

• Must have basic understanding and ability to maintain and utilize grinders, saws, and other shop machinery whether electric or air pneumatic.
• Must understand work order instructions.

Required Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent. 
• 1-2 years’ work experience.

Work Environment
 This job operates in an office and manufacturing environment. This role routinely uses tools and other such equipment during the course of the job duties.  Provided Personal Protective Equipment, as well as steel-toed boots or shoes, must be worn at all times. 

Physical Demands

• Moderate walking and climbing
• Physically able to conduct inspections and carry equipment used for inspections

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to, stand, sit; and stoop
• Regular, predictable attendance is required

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday.

Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
