Job Description

Major Focus: Set up and operate various types of machines to perform machining operations on both solid and porous materials to close tolerances.  Fits and assembles where necessary.

This is an in-person position based in Farmington, CT.  Compensation package includes base salary, 15% 3rd Shift differential,  bonus, and 401k match. This is once in a lifetime opportunity to drive positive change and work in a dynamic, bureaucracy-free environment.   

Key Responsibilities:

1. Machining of solid and porous metal products to specifications.

1. Machining of high purity porous metal products to meet specifications. 

1. Straightening and rounding of porous metal products

Major Challenges:

1. Meeting high purity visual & cleanliness requirements. 

1. Flexibility to change tasks and reprioritize as needed.

Expected Performance Outcomes:

1. Meeting rates for cutting tubes 

1. Job transaction accuracy > 80% 

1. Manufacturing parts that meet with our dimensional and visual quality specifications.

Required Experience:

1. High school diploma or equivalent. 

1. Technical School or 1 to 2 years manufacturing experience in machining.
