• Worksite: Electronics Testing and Measurement Company (Santa Rosa, CA 95403 - Onsite)

• 40 hours/week, 24 Month Assignment

A leading technology company is seeking aMachinist (Day).The successful candidate will develop and sustain machining processes utilizing cutting-edge machine tools such as Swiss Style Lathes, Single and Multi-Turret Lathes, and 3 to 5 axis Milling centers. Machinist (Day) Responsibilities:

• Work closely with R&D on microwave applications, influence designs for mechanical components and assemblies, ensure design for manufacturability, facilitate release, and support production.
• Interface with Engineering, Maintenance, and Management as well as production/NPI Schedulers.

Machinist Qualifications:

• A 2-year certification from JC. or a Journeyman Machinist certification is preferred.
• Must have the willingness to learn.
• Strong teamwork, positive attitude, dedication, and job flexibility.
• Experience with any/all of the following is desired:- 3 to 5 axis Milling- Swiss Style Lathes
  • Mill/Turn Machine Center
  • Advanced Metrology
  • CNC Programming/CAM Programming Software
  • CAD/Solid Modeling
  • Tool Grinding
  • Interpreting specifications, including Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)

Shift:

• Day Shift - 6 am - 2:30 pm.
