Machinist (CNC & Manual) – Full Time

Pay: $25–$30/hour

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 3:30/4:30 PM (occasional Saturdays 6:00 AM – 12:00 PM)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machinist to join our team. This role involves setting up, operating, and programming CNC equipment, as well as working with manual machines to produce and repair high-quality parts. The ideal candidate is experienced, dependable, and takes pride in precision work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up, operate, and program CNC ProtoTRAK lathes and mills
• Set up and operate manual lathes and mills
• Re-machine parts for repair and refurbishment
• Perform saw cutting, surface grinding, sanding, and deburring
• Maintain clean and organized work areas
• Perform routine shop maintenance

Qualifications:

• Experience programming and operating CNC machines (lathes, mills, etc.)
• Experience with manual machining equipment
• Wire EDM experience is a plus
• Familiarity with FeatureCam software is a plus
• Strong understanding of materials, cutting tools, speeds & feeds, and machining techniques
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings
• Experience working with ferrous and non-ferrous metals, as well as plastics
• Must have basic machinist tools
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and efficiency
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
• Good communication skills (written and verbal)
• Positive attitude and strong problem-solving abilities
