Responsibilities

• Set up and operate various machining tools, including lathes, mills, and CNC machines.
• Fabricate and assemble composite components according to engineering specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders.
• Perform quality inspections on finished products to ensure they meet industry standards.
• Maintain and troubleshoot machinery to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with engineers and other team members to improve processes and product designs.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in machining or composites is a plus.
• Proven experience as a machinist and/or composite laminator.
• Strong understanding of machining processes and composite materials.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
• Familiarity with CNC programming and operation is preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
