AFINITAS is that company! We are currently looking for a CNC Machinist to join our team. Afinitas is a manufacturer of robotic concrete pipe machinery and form equipment. This is a full-time position in our Reduction department.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Programming, setting up, and operating OKUMA CNC Machine Centers.
• Operate both overhead and jib style cranes.
• Operating fork trucks and other power equipment.
• Ability to operate all machines safely and productively.
• Inspection of finished parts using precision measuring tools (ex. Calipers, micrometers,)
• Performing required preventative maintenance.
• All other duties assigned.
• Collaborate with engineers and team members to improve production efficiency

QUALIFICATIONS

• 2 Year CNC machinist degree and/or previous work experience as a machinist.
• Set-up and operate one of the following machines: (Okuma Mill/Okuma VTM)
• Read and interpret prints without supervision and/or direction.
• Experience with Master Cam program.
• Experience with SolidWorks program.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Works in a plant/manufacturing environment that involves the use of industrial machinery and chemicals. Employee must be able to correctly wear and use any Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required at the location.
