Machinist

We are looking for an experienced Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate is a skilled, hands-on machinist who can confidently set up and operate CNC machinery, make adjustments, edit G&M code, and troubleshoot machining issues with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machining equipment.

• Make machine offsets, tooling adjustments, and program modifications as needed.

• Edit and troubleshoot G&M code at the machine.

• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T.

• Select appropriate tooling, workholding, speeds, and feeds.

• Inspect finished and in-process parts to ensure they meet dimensional and quality requirements.

• Troubleshoot machining and tooling issues and make adjustments to improve part quality and cycle times.

• Work independently while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, and productivity.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow company procedures.

Qualifications

Required:

• Minimum 5 years of machining experience.

• Strong CNC setup and machining experience.

• Ability to make machine adjustments and troubleshoot machining issues.

• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and tolerances.

• Experience editing G&M code at the machine.

• Strong understanding of cutting tools, workholding, speeds, feeds, and machining processes.

Preferred, but not required:

• Experience with tool and die machining.

• Experience using WorkNC or other CAM software.

• Experience machining complex or close-tolerance components.

• Experience working with a variety of CNC machining centers and controls.
