Job Overview:

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Machine field tool components
  • Assemble field tools to fulfill customer orders
  • Disassemble, assess, and repair field tools returned under RMAs
  • Repair/recreate damaged machined components for production equipment
  • Create prototype components and assemblies for new field tool models and new production equipment
  • Support 5S, kaizen, and continuous improvement projects as needed.
  • Comply with all safety policies, quality policies, and NOV company policies
  • All other duties as assigned

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Three years of verifiable work history

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to work overtime and shift work as needed
  • Standing 6 to 8 hours daily
  • Walking 6 to 8 hours daily
  • Bending/stooping 6 to 8 hours daily
  • Repetitive movement (shoveling/sweeping/fastening) 6 to 8 hours daily
  • Push/pull 6 to 8 hours daily
  • Lifting weights up to 50 lbs. Regularly
  • Travel less than 10%

  • Advanced knowledge of both manual and CNC/automated milling and lathe machines, with the ability to create and edit programs
  • Ability to read and understand blueprint drawings
  • Proficiency with using measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, thread gauges, etc.
