Job Description

Jackson, Tennessee mechanical products company needs a machinist to set up and operate NC milling machine shop equipment. This client needs someone with experience making very high precision parts.

• Should have experience as a machinist/machine operator working with NC metal shaping machines, such as mills, turning centers, machining centers, lathes, grinders, jig borers, drill press.
• This client wants someone with both CNC and manual machining experience. Familiarity with Mazak and Tsunami machines preferred.
• This is an opportunity for you to work independently, inspecting your own work as you progress.
• Working with blueprints and specs, equipment manuals, operation sheets, etc., you will produce high-quality parts and assemblies.
• You will use basic mechanical inspection equipment. Should have experience with CMM equipment, calipers, micrometers, comparators.
• Technical education certificate is a plus.

REQUIREMENTS

• Technical education certificate is a plus
• Should have at least two years’ of experience as a Machinist
• Should be familiar with CNC and manual machines as described.
• Familiarity with Mazak and Tsunami machines is preferred.
