Job Duties of the Machinist:

• Machine precision metal parts in a production environment

• Operate machine tools such as lathes, mills, grinders, and Swiss machines

• Review electronic and written blueprints and job specifications

• Calculate measurements and determine cutting, boring, and shaping requirements

• Machine steel, aluminum, and additional materials as needed

• Operate a Tsugami B038T Swiss machine

• Identify, troubleshoot, and correct root causes of machining issues

• Maintain a clean and safe work area

• Other duties as required

Qualifications of the Machinist:

• High school diploma or GED

• Experience operating a Tsugami B038T Swiss machine (required)

• 2–3 years of machining experience

• Strong manual dexterity and mechanical aptitude

• Ability to work 10-hour shifts

• Reliability and attention to detail

• Ability to bend, lift, twist, crouch, etc.
