CHS has partnered with a reputable manufacturing company and is currently seeking Machinists for opportunities in Irwin, PA! We are looking for a skilled individual who is passionate about precision machining and thrives in a fast-paced environment. If you have a knack for troubleshooting and enjoy working with both CNC and manual machines, we want to hear from you!

**Shift: **2nd shift – 3:00 pm – 12:00 am (Mon-Thurs), 10:00 am – 2:00 pm (Fri)

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machines, ensuring optimal performance and precision.
• Perform changeovers on CNC equipment to accommodate various production runs.
• Utilize manual machining skills to fabricate and modify parts as needed.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
• Employ tape measure reading skills to ensure precise measurements and tolerances.
• Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues to maintain production efficiency.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Machinist or in a similar role.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with a problem-solving mindset.
• Proficient in CNC machine setup and changeover processes.
• Solid manual machining skills with experience in operating various tools.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
• Familiarity with tape measure reading and other measuring tools.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
