Job Description

Aegis is currently partnering with a growing family-owned manufacturer to looking to identify a Machinist to join their team!

Responsibilities:

• Work on manual lathes, Bridgeport mills, manual lathes, CNC machines, and drill presses to manufacture components
• Machine carbon steel and stainless steel, with occasionally working on aluminum, brass, and nylon
• Perform measurements, blueprint reading, and check work using calipers and micrometers

Requirements:

• Foundational machining knowledge – through trade school, machining coursework, or hands-on experience

• Manual machining familiarity – some exposure to lathes, mills, or drill presses.

• Experience with Blueprint reading and measuring skills

• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
