Description
Responsible for set-up and operation of conventional and CNC machines. Machine parts to comply with company quality, productivity, and safety standards. Primary focus on running a Haas ST-15y lathe. The ability to do editing and light programming is desired as well as the ability to operate other Haas VMC's.
Qualifications
- Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Vocational Certification or diploma or equivalent experience.
- 3 - 7 years’ experience in a production environment or other equivalent experience and/or education.
- Prior conventional and or CNC machining experience.
- Ability to read blueprints.
- Ability to use all related machine inspection tools and measuring devices such as calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, height Gauge, ETC.
- Proficient math skills.
- Basic computer skills-Microsoft applications and Syteline/ERP System.
- Must possess a comprehensive mechanical knowledge of machines and tools, uses, repair, and maintenance.
- Self-starter, organized, flexible and ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to work within a team.
- Ability to identify quality and documentation errors.
