Your Challenge:
This position is a union position and will be assigned to either 2nd or 3rd shift. Training for this position will happen during first/daylight shift.
CNC machining experience is preferred, and programming is a plus.
Must be able to work to close tolerances on large products. Experience machining ferrous and non-ferrous materials required.
Experience in the operation of the following machines is a plus:
All types of machining equipment including manual and CNC skills.
Horizontal Boring Mills (both CNC and manual)
Large Vertical Boring Mills (both CNC and manual)
Large Turning -Vertical or Horizontal Lathes (both CNC and manual)
Multi axis milling and turning equipment.
Manual and CNC grinding experience.
What you Bring:
Six years of experience preferred.
High school graduate plus completion of a four-year machinist apprenticeship or equivalent.
Due to DoD requirements, candidates must be US citizens.
Must be able to obtain and maintain DOD security clearance.
