Pay - 24.60/Hr.
REQUIREMENTS:
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Job Description:
- Set up equipment in preparation for startup, and responsible for the running the KP machines, while also adhering to good safety practices, food safety policies, and company policies.
- Set up V-Mag stuffer/grinder and KP machines.
- Move empty racks into position for loading and loading logs onto racks.
- Send out correct diameters of slicing logs to freezer.
- Chang film as needed.
- Identify and stripping out defective logs.
- Drain water from bottom of KP and inspecting equipment.
- Set up and breaking down grinders.
- Record condition of grinder plates on grinder inspection sheets and turning in to lead/supervisor.
- Inform QA and Production Supervisor in the event of issues with equipment/grinder or raw materials.
- Informs and assists Maintenance persons in identifying and correcting problems with machines.
- Performs PM’s on equipment in assigned Department.
Requirements:
- Basic Math Skills and ability to become certified in Lock Out tag Out Program.
- Must be willing and able to work on and around machinery and chemicals.
- Must be willing and able to work in temperatures less than or equal to 35 degrees Fahrenheit temperature for minimum of 8 hours.
- Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
- Must be willing and able to perform the following task for periods of 8 hours on concrete floor, some of which may include but is not limited to bending, twisting, reaching, standing, stooping, walking, climbing, and lifting.
- Must be willing and able to pinch/grip product and place into specified location.
- Must have 6 months of continuous employment in the last 18 months. Preferred candidates will have at least 6 months of relevant machine operator, warehouse, agricultural or production experience.
