If you're the type of quality inspector who catches things everyone else misses, this is the kind of shop you want to work in.

We're looking for an experienced Quality Inspector to join a growing aerospace machine shop that builds complex, tight-tolerance components for customers where quality isn't optional. Some of these parts end up on aircraft and in space, so getting it right the first time matters.

This is a hands-on role working closely with machinists, programmers, engineers, and production to ensure every part leaving the shop meets customer specifications.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections on precision machined components.

  • Read and interpret complex engineering drawings and GD&T.

  • Develop and maintain inspection plans.

  • Program and operate CMM equipment.

  • Use precision measuring equipment including:- Calipers

    • Micrometers
    • Bore gauges
    • Height gauges
    • Pin gauges
    • Thread gauges
    • Optical comparators
  • Complete inspection reports and quality documentation.

  • Support root cause investigations and corrective actions.

  • Work with production to resolve quality issues before parts leave the shop.

  • Ensure compliance with AS9100D, customer requirements, and internal quality standards.

What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years of quality inspection experience in a precision machining environment.
  • Aerospace manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience programming and operating CMMs.
  • Strong understanding of GD&T and blueprint reading.
  • Working knowledge of AS9100D and ISO 9001 quality systems.
  • Experience with First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR/AS9102).
  • Comfortable working with tight tolerances and complex machined components.
  • CNC machining experience is a huge plus.

Why This Opportunity?

  • Work on challenging, low-volume, high-mix aerospace projects.
  • Modern precision CNC machining environment.
  • Stable, growing company with opportunities to expand your technical skills.
  • Competitive pay based on experience.
  • 401(k) with company match.
  • Health insurance.
  • Paid time off.
  • Professional development opportunities.
  • Day shift schedule.

If you're looking for a shop where quality is respected, your opinion matters, and you'll work on parts that require real precision—not just production volume—we'd like to talk with you
