Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various machine shop equipment, including lathes, mills, and CNC machines.
• Diagnose mechanical issues and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime.
• Conduct inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure equipment is operating at peak efficiency.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
• Collaborate with production staff to schedule maintenance activities with minimal disruption to operations.
• Assist in the installation of new machinery and equipment as needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in a related field is a plus.
• Proven experience in machine maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing or machine shop environment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Familiarity with CNC machinery and other advanced manufacturing equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and respond to emergency maintenance requests as needed.
