Machine Operator / Machine Setup & Maintenance Trainee

Location: Elmhurst, IL

Our client in Elmhurst is looking for a motivated individual with machine operator experience who is interested in building a long-term career in manufacturing. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to advance into a Machine Setup & Maintenance role and receive hands-on training.

Position Overview

The selected candidate will begin by learning the company's manufacturing equipment and processes while receiving training to become responsible for:

• Setting up production machines for daily operations

• Performing machine changeovers and production setups

• Troubleshooting equipment issues during production

• Assisting with basic machine maintenance and repairs

• Working with the production team to minimize downtime

• Ensuring machines are operating safely and efficiently

This is a training position, and the company is committed to teaching the right candidate the specific skills needed for success.

Qualifications

• Previous basic machine operator experience recommended

• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Dependable with a positive attitude

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Basic mechanical or electrical experience is a plus, but not required
