This is a non-climate controlled environment & 12 hr shifts

We currently have openings for our 1st/2nd shift for the following positions:

  • Nights Machine Operators-$15.00-$17.50
  • Day Shift Machine Operators

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS, DUTIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Remove finished rolls from weaving machines
  • Build and stage pallets for finished products
  • Replenish materials and keep work areas clean
  • Operate and monitor weaving machines
  • Change, thread, and adjust wire and blades
  • Perform basic troubleshooting and routine machine maintenance
  • Monitor the feed and speed of machines during the machining process
  • Maintain the surrounding area, keeping the area free of debris

Requirements

  • Effective communication include speaking, writing, active listening and taking instruction
  • Good leadership and training skills
  • Quick troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent mechanical skills, including comfort with using tools to make simple repairs
  • Great time management
  • Keen attention to detail to identify maintenance, product or operations issues

NECESSARY SKILLS, BACKGROUND & COMPETENCIES:

  • Minimum one year of work experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Must be able to work in a team-based, positive, fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to understand written instructions and follow procedures.
  • Must be able and willing to work 5 PM-5 AM MON-FRI and Saturdays as needed. Employees average at least 40 hours a week, no more than 50.
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
