Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable Machine Operator to support tube and metal forming operations in a manufacturing environment. This role involves operating production equipment used to shape and form metal components, including swaging and strut machinery.

This position is well suited for candidates with experience operating presses, punch presses, tube benders, or other industrial machines. Training will be provided on specific equipment for candidates with transferable machine operation experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate tube and metal forming equipment, including swaging and strut machines, following work instructions and blueprints

• Load and unload raw materials, fixtures, and tooling

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and job travelers

• Monitor machine operation and make basic adjustments as needed

• Perform in-process inspections to ensure parts meet quality and dimensional requirements

• Complete production and quality documentation accurately

• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area

• Communicate equipment, quality, or production issues to leads or supervisors

Qualifications

• 6 months to 1 year of experience as a machine operator in a manufacturing environment

• Experience with presses, punch presses, tube bending, roll forming, or similar equipment is a plus

• Ability to read blueprints and basic technical drawings

• Familiarity with measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, or gauges preferred

• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail

• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented production environment
