Shift: Swing Shift - 2:15 pm to 10:45 pm (Monday to Friday) + Overtime (Till - 12:45 pm)
SUMMARY OF POSITION:
The Machine Operator will run repeat proven parts with low to intermediate complexity. You will receive directions and be overseen by the area Lead, Supervisor or qualified area Machinist.
- Responsible for utilizing shop paper procedures including updates, signatures, and stamps, counting quantities, labeling and non-conformance-related activities.
- Ensure an accurate router accompanies all work orders.
- Knowledge of theoretical and practical aspects of blueprint reading, precision measuring tools, and GD&T.
- Inspect and measure parts to maintain statistical process controls charts with instruction and supervision from Lead, Supervisor or qualified Machinist.
- Start and observe machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining. Alert Lead or Supervisor to any issue(s) on job or machine.
- Ensure company procedures and “best machine practices” are being followed and are in place at all times.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma, GED equivalent - Preferred, or Technical School - Preferred.
- 0-2 years’ experience in a Manufacturing or Production environment.
- Ability to speak basic English language. Must have good communication skills must be able to read and write in English.
