Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable Machine Operator to support swage and strut operations in a manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on machine operation experience who can read blueprints and follow detailed work instructions. The operator will be responsible for producing quality parts while meeting production and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Operate swage and strut machinery according to work instructions and blueprints
Load and unload materials, fixtures, and tooling
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and job travelers
Monitor machine performance and make basic adjustments as required
Perform in-process inspections to ensure parts meet specifications
Maintain accurate production and quality documentation
Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area
Communicate with leads or supervisors regarding issues or deviations
Required Qualifications
Minimum 6 months to 1 year of experience as a machine operator in a manufacturing environment
Ability to read and understand blueprints and basic technical drawings
Familiarity with measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, or gauges preferred
Basic mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Work Environment
Manufacturing shop floor
Standing for extended periods and lifting materials as required
Fast-paced production setting
