Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable Machine Operator to support swage and strut operations in a manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on machine operation experience who can read blueprints and follow detailed work instructions. The operator will be responsible for producing quality parts while meeting production and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate swage and strut machinery according to work instructions and blueprints

• Load and unload materials, fixtures, and tooling

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and job travelers

• Monitor machine performance and make basic adjustments as required

• Perform in-process inspections to ensure parts meet specifications

• Maintain accurate production and quality documentation

• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area

• Communicate with leads or supervisors regarding issues or deviations

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months to 1 year of experience as a machine operator in a manufacturing environment

• Ability to read and understand blueprints and basic technical drawings

• Familiarity with measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, or gauges preferred

• Basic mechanical aptitude and attention to detail

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Work Environment

• Manufacturing shop floor

• Standing for extended periods and lifting materials as required

• Fast-paced production setting
