At Pacur, our Extrusion Machine Operators oversee one or more sheet lines ensuring all safety, quality, output, documentation, and cleaning standards are met or exceeded.
Shift: Extrusion Machine Operators work a rotating 12-hour shift. 7:00AM to 7:00PM and 7:00PM to 7:00AM. The 28-day rotation results in approximately 14 work shifts per month.
What you will do:
Start up and shut down sheet lines as directed by supervisor or lead
Oversee the operation of one or more sheet lines safely and efficiently. You are responsible for safety, quality, output and documentation.
Complete job changeovers with minimal scrap and downtime
Safely complete indexing at the end of a roll
Complete all required data entry in the Plex computer system
Complete all required equipment logs
Maintain good sheet output through the use of quality standards, scanning equipment, visual checks, end of roll sampling and maintaining silicone quality
Ensure dryer loading, color auger feed, and mixing station operations
Maintain all silicone requirements including bath changes
