Machine Operator
Location: Avon, CT
Pay: $21.00–$27.00 per hour
Training: All new hires train on 1st shift, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, for approximately 1–3 months.

- 2nd Shift: Operator opening — base pay up to $24/hour + $2 shift differential
- 3rd Shift: Operator opening — base pay up to $24/hour + $3 shift differential
- 1st/3rd Rotating 12-Hour Shift: 6:00 AM–6:00 PM / 6:00 PM–6:00 AM

Job Overview
We are looking for hands-on Machine Operators to set up, operate, and monitor manufacturing equipment in a high-volume production environment. Operators will make machine adjustments and changeovers, monitor product quality, troubleshoot basic equipment problems, and help maintain safe and efficient production.
Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and monitor production machinery.
- Perform machine changeovers and make equipment adjustments as needed.
- Inspect finished products for quality, dimensions, and appearance.
- Troubleshoot basic mechanical and production issues.
- Load and unload raw materials and finished products.
- Use hand tools and basic measuring equipment.
- Perform routine machine cleaning and preventive maintenance.
- Follow work orders, production specifications, and safety procedures.
- Complete required production and quality documentation.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe.
- Communicate equipment problems and quality concerns to maintenance and supervisors.
Qualifications
- Previous manufacturing or machine operating experience preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment.
- Comfortable working with machinery, hand tools, and measuring equipment.
- Ability to read and follow written instructions and production specifications.
- Basic math and measurement skills.
- Strong attention to detail and focus on product quality.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive physical tasks.
- Ability to lift and move materials as required.
- Reliable attendance and willingness to work the assigned shift.
Preferred Experience
Experience with film, plastics, printing, slitting, laminating, coating, embossing, or other roll-to-roll/converting equipment is a plus. Mechanical, technical, or manufacturing training is also preferred.
This is a hands-on manufacturing position with paid training provided on 1st shift before transitioning to the assigned schedule.
