Machine Operator – Automotive Manufacturing

Location:Detroit, MI

Pay:$24.00/hour + $0.50 Shift Premium (2nd Shift)

Shifts Available:

• 1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
• 2nd Shift: 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM

Express Employment Professionals is hiringexperienced Machine Operatorsfor a leading automotive manufacturer in Detroit. This is a long-term opportunity with competitive pay for candidates with automotive manufacturing or robotic assembly experience.

Job Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor production machinery and robotic assembly equipment.
• Load and unload automotive body parts from production machines.
• Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Perform light metal finishing as needed.
• Pack completed parts into shipping racks.
• Report machine malfunctions or quality concerns to supervisors.
• Follow all safety procedures and production work instructions.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of2 years of machine operating or automotive manufacturing experience.
• Experience working on robotic assembly lines is strongly preferred.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions and quality specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Reliable attendance and willingness to work overtime when needed.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for the duration of the shift.
• Lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
