Principal Accountabilities:
- Operate production equipment including packing lines and powered mobile equipment.
- Set up monitor and adjust machines to ensure products meet quality and packaging specifications.
- Perform basic preventative maintenance and troubleshoot minor equipment issues using hand and power tools.
- Record production quality and downtime data manually and electronically including SAP entries.
- Move unload and store finished products using forklifts pallet jacks or other material handling equipment.
- Follow all food safety regulatory and safety procedures including lockout tagout and support housekeeping and quality checks.
- Willing to work overtime, weekends, holidays, or variable shifts with advance notice.
- Perform duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to understand and communicate in English, verbal and written.
• Able to work indoors and outdoors, including at heights of 4 feet or more, and capable of performing physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 lbs., climbing, bending, and twisting, with or without reasonable accommodation and while using appropriate PPE.
• Basic computer skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
• At least one year of experience in a production, manufacturing, or plant environment.
• Forklift operating experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience using inventory or warehouse management systems.
