Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Surface Mount Technology (SMT) Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining our SMT line, including programming, setup, troubleshooting, and daily production support. Key Responsibilities:
o Program and optimize equipment for production runs to ensure efficient and high-quality production.
o Perform visual verification and process setup validation to confirm correct placement, alignment, and solder paste application prior to production.
o Monitor line performance and troubleshoot quality or equipment issues to minimize downtime and ensure product quality.
o Ensure proper material loading, feeder setup, and stencil alignment to prevent errors and defects.
o Operate our SMT line, including setup, programming, troubleshooting, and daily production support to meet production targets and quality standards.
Required Skills and Education
5+ years of hands-on experience operating a full SMT line, with a proven track record of efficiency and quality.
Strong working knowledge of:
+ Stencil printing and solder paste application.
+ Pick-and-place programming and operation.
+ Reflow profiling and temperature control.
Familiarity with:
+ SMT components and their handling.
+ Feeder setup and management.
+ PCB assembly processes and quality control.
Ability to:
+ Read and interpret assembly drawings, work instructions, and bills of materials.
+ Analyze problems and implement effective solutions.
+ Work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills and Education
Experience with the following equipment: Speedline Solder Paste Machine, Hanwha Pick and Place Machines, Simplimatic Conveyers, Juki selective solder, AquaStorm CCA cleaner.
IPC-A-610 certification.
Experience with Automated Optical Inspection and Solder Paste Inspection systems.
Typical Education and Experience
Typically a High School Diploma and 3 years work experience or equivalent experience
