As a Machine Operator 1 in our Memphis manufacturing site, you will play a hands on role in producing high quality medical technology that improves lives around the world. Location: Mansfield MA
Shift: Monday-Friday 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm
What will you be doing?
Operating production machinery to manufacture products in line with safety, quality and productivity standards
Performing routine equipment checks and basic adjustments to ensure smooth operation
Following standard operating procedures and work instructions with a strong attention to detail
Completing required production and quality documentation accurately and on time
Identifying and escalating equipment or process issues to support continuous improvement
Working collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals
What will you need to be successful?
1 or more years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment
Ability to operate machinery and follow detailed instructions and procedures
Strong focus on safety, quality and consistency
Basic computer or documentation skills
Ability to work shifts, stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks as required

The anticipated base compensation range for this position is $20.31 - $32.57 hourly. The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range for their role at Smith + Nephew. Compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
