Job Summary
In the machine operator role, you will be responsible for operating and troubleshooting
the machinery. You will also work to solve problems that arise in the manufacturing
process. Success in this role will be demonstrated by your ability to minimize risks and
machine downtime while operating machines within specific specs.
Responsibilities
● Ensure all work orders get completed on time by meeting production targets
● Report daily production in ERP (jobcard) with employee ID number
● Track scrap to determine how much material has been wasted, identifying the issue on the
machine and implementing corrective actions.
● Verify, load and stage raw materials before the start of the production
● Palletizing finished products from machines, ensuring they meet quality expectations
● Adhering to safety guidelines and company standards at all times
● Monitor machines during operations to detect any malfunctions and troubleshoot if needed
● Follow work order schedule as directed by Lead or Supervisor
● Promptly communicate any maintenance issues as instructed
● Keep the machinery and work center area clean after each change over and end of shift
● Cross training in other departments as scheduled by your Supervisor.
● Troubleshoot machine when any issue arise using assigned tools
● Check the quality of the finished item by measuring it and assuring that the specs match
with the quality sample

● Must be able to communicate in a clear, efficient way to share relevant thoughts and ideas
● Must be flexible to work in any manufacturing department
● Have the ability to work well with others and make their peers feel safe and valued in the
workplace.
● Demonstrate understanding of job function and asking questions for clarification if needed
● Willingness to being trained and training other employees on any other machine
