Job Description

Job Summary: The Homag Panel Saw Operator is responsible for accurately cutting plywood, CDX, Brich, Sanded, MDF, and other sheet materials according to engineering specifications. The operator ensures material optimization, quality, and efficient production while following all safety procedures.

Primary Responsibilities:

· Operate the Homag Sawteq B-200 panel saw.

· Load cutting programs from optimization software.

· Read and interpret engineering drawings and cut layouts.

· Verify material type, thickness, and dimensions before processing.

· Inspect finished parts for dimensional accuracy and quality.

· Label and organize finished components for production.

· Monitor blade condition and report maintenance needs.

· Perform daily equipment inspections and housekeeping.

· Follow all machine safety and lockout/tagout procedures.

Qualifications:

· Experience in operating machines or panel saw equipment is preferred.

· Ability to read engineering drawings and work instructions.

· Strong mathematical and measuring skills.

· Attention to detail and commitment to quality.

· Forklift experience plus.

You should be proficient in:

• CNC Machine Setup & Changeover

Machines & technologies you'll use:

• CNC Mill (3-4 axis VMC)
• CNC Lathe (2-4 axis)
