Job Summary & Essential Functions

Perform various assembly operations as assigned by the production supervisor.

• Operate a variety of equipment, for example: conformal coating, singulation machines, and start to train on wave solder needed to fulfill customer requirements
• Assemble electrical or electromechanical devices or components using a variety of hardware/tools
• Understand and identify defects in accordance with applicable workmanship IPC-610 standard for all classes
• Perform work with minimal supervision and instruction

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

• Mechanically inclined
• Ability to use tools and testing devices
• Basic math computational and measurement skills
• Ability to work with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail to produce quality results
• Ability to work in a high volume, high detail work environment
• Ability to read, comprehend and follow instructions
• Ability to manipulate and work with tedious and small parts
• Ability to problem solve issues involving multiple variables and limited standardization

Required Experience & Education 

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum 1 year of relevant job experience preferred
• Certification in IPC -610
