Machine Operator – 2nd & 3rd Shift Opportunities
Pay: Up to $26/hr
Location: Avon, CT
Available Shifts:
- 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
- 3rd Shift: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM
We are currently seeking reliable and detail-oriented Machine Operators to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and monitoring production equipment used in the manufacturing of high-quality micro-prism films. Successful candidates will ensure efficient production processes, maintain product quality standards, and support continuous manufacturing operations in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up, operate, and monitor manufacturing equipment to produce micro-prism films according to specifications.
- Load, unload, and manage raw materials and finished products throughout the production process.
- Monitor machine performance and make operating adjustments as needed to maintain efficiency and product quality.
- Perform routine quality inspections and document production data to ensure compliance with established standards.
- Identify and report equipment malfunctions, process deviations, or quality concerns to supervisors and maintenance personnel.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, work instructions, and production documentation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following all company safety procedures.
- Collaborate with team members and shift leadership to meet production goals and deadlines.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous machine operating or manufacturing experience preferred, but not required.
- Understanding of manufacturing and production processes.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, and operating manuals.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a production environment.
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills are a plus.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift materials as required by the position.
