Position: Machine Operator

Department: Production

Hours: 2nd shift: 3:00 p.m.–shift end (hours may vary) Saturday availability

Skills and Qualities:

• At least 1 year of prior food machine operator experience or 1 year of machine operator experience. 
• Lifting up to 50 lbs. frequently
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instruction, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members.
• Basic math skills, communication skills (Communicate in English), computer skills, and problem solving skills.
• Ability to communicate in English and work in a fast paced environment.
• Must have mechanical skills to troubleshoot and or make adjustments as necessary to ensure a quality product.
• The ability to stand on a concrete floor for long period of time. Bending, stooping, twist, turn, standing for extended time periods, reaching, climbing stairs, and lifting up to 50 lbs
• Associate must work well under pressure, meet multiple and sometimes completing deadlines.
• Good attendance is a condition of employment

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for setting up and tearing down the production line equipment.
• Operate machines, including troubleshooting, cleanup, setup, basic quality control, and waste control.
• Responsible for keeping the production line supplied with raw materials at all times.
• Responsible for the operation of a manual and/or power hand jack.
• Able to complete production paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
