Requirements:

   Responsible for the set-up and operation of the Bobst Die Cutter in an orderly, accurate and efficient manner.  Operator will assist in training and interaction of crews, confer with pre-press department regarding conditions of supplies, check ink color to meet customer specifications.  Responsible for a quality product properly printed and/or die cut according to customer specifications in a safe and proper manner.  Must be able to perform preventative maintenance, inform of breakdowns, constantly monitor quality of product as per accepted standards as set by the company.  Must be able to accurately report production in computer, to read and understand all orders, spec cards and print cards, must be able to read and understand a tape measure, stop watch, micrometer, Ph meter and viscometer, to use and understand a spectrophotometer.  Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. on a continuous basis for an extended period of time.  Perform all other duties as required by supervisor and must be willing to work overtime as needed.

The required skills for this position, such as operating print machinery and press machines, will be utilized daily to ensure the smooth flow of production. Proficiency in using various computer software systems will be essential. Attention to detail is critical when performing quality checks on products. Additionally, familiarity with production machinery will enable you to troubleshoot issues quickly, minimizing downtime. Preferred skills, such as knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, will enhance your ability to contribute to process improvements and overall operational efficiency.


11:00 PM to 7:00 AM Monday through Friday.
