Pay Rate: $25.00 - $26.00/hr (W2)Schedule: M-F; 8am-5pmJob SummaryThe Machine Operator is responsible for supporting safe, efficient, and reliable manufacturing operations while ensuring equipment is maintained and production requirements are met. This role involves operating machinery, performing preventive maintenance, inspecting products, and assisting with daily production activities to support continuous improvement.Key Responsibilities**- Participate in pre-job and toolbox safety meetings with the production team.

  • Operate manufacturing equipment according to established procedures and safety standards.
  • Perform preventive maintenance (PM) on production equipment.
  • Maintain equipment and report any issues, defects, or operational deviations.
  • Assist the Guide Lead with daily production operations.
  • Inspect guides for porosity and other quality defects.
  • Pull rods through the brush table during the production process.
  • Paint rods after the molding process is completed.
  • Support failure investigations when required.
  • Identify opportunities to improve manufacturing efficiency and service delivery.
  • Follow Manufacturing System principles to drive continuous improvement.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Qualifications- High School Diploma or GED required.

  • No prior work experience required.
  • Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn manufacturing processes.
  • Ability to follow written procedures and safety guidelines.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.

Preferred Skills- Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment.

  • Basic mechanical or maintenance knowledge.
  • Ability to use hand tools and perform routine equipment inspections.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and continuous improvement.
