JOB DESCRIPTION 

The machine operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining various production machinery, including assembly line, press machines, power equipment, various hand tools, and pallet jacks. Your primary goal will be to ensure that all machines are running efficiently and producing high-quality products. You will work closely with the production team to meet daily production targets and ensure that all safety protocols are followed. 

 

Role and Responsibilities 

  • Safely operate and maintain various production machinery, including assembly line, press machines, and mold machine, as well as power equipment, various hand tools, and pallet jacks. 
  • Ensure that all machines are running efficiently and producing high-quality products 
  • Collaborate with the production team to meet daily production targets 
  • Follow all safety protocols and maintain a safe and clean working environment 
  • Perform routine maintenance on machines and troubleshoot any issues that arise 
  • Maintain reporting records on daily production sheets and be able to assist in inventory counting.  
  • Load and unload rolls of paper as needed 

 

 

Qualifications and Education Requirements 

  • High school diploma or equivalent 
  • At least 2 years of experience operating production machinery 
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics 
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production targets 

 

Preferred Skills 

  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles 
  • Familiarity with Six Sigma methodologies 
  • Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) 

Pay:

                $19.00 per hour 

Job Type: Full - Time
