SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Saw Operator – Assembler to join our team. The Saw Operator – Assembler will Operate CNC saw, Band saw and assemble components to create finished assemblies. The ideal candidate will be team-oriented, safety-conscious, and willing to take on various tasks within the manufacturing environment.
SPECIFIC DUTIES, ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
• Operate CNC saw, Band saw and assemble components to create finished assemblies.
• Cut parts as per specifications.
• Paint finished assemblies as per specifications.
• Package items for shipment to ensure safe delivery.
• Familiarity with tape measures , using decimals or fractions
• Operate overhead cranes safely and efficiently.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
• Perform other duties in the warehouse as needed to support team operations
Requirements
EHS REQUIREMENTS:
- Complete all work in a safe manner and follow all safety requirements consistent with supporting the company’s TRIR goals.
- Follow all environmental requirements consistent with supporting the company’s environmental performance goals.
- Complete, and actively participate in all the company’s Safety Skills training requirements
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and correspondence.
- Basic proficiency with hand tools is preferred.
- Capable of regularly lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds.
- Willingness to work overtime and Saturdays as required.
- Must successfully pass a drug test and background check as part of the hiring process.
- Experience operating an overhead crane and forklift is a strong advantage.
PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to maneuver to all areas of a shop or warehouse.
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to safely bend, reach, kneel, twist, and grip items while working at area.
- Must have the manual dexterity and coordination to operate hand tools and mechanical tools.
- Must be able to work at a fast pace.
- Must be able to tolerate changing priorities, and complete assignments despite frequent interruptions.
- Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues.
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Work environment is typically considered within an ELS location during normal or extended business hours. Work environment may also include customer sites including oil well sites, and meeting venues.
