Machine Operator
Millwood is accepting applications for the Machine Operator position. The job responsibilities include operating and maintaining various production machinery, including assembly lines, press machines, power equipment, various hand tools, and pallet jacks. Your primary goal will be to ensure that all machines are running efficiently and producing high-quality products. You will work closely with the production team to meet daily production targets and ensure that all safety protocols are followed.

Reports to: Plant Manager and Floor Supervisors
Duties include:
- Following all safety guidelines and protocols.
- Safely operate and maintain various production machinery, including assembly lines, press machines, molding machines, power equipment, hand tools, and pallet jacks.
- Ensure that all machines are running efficiently and producing high-quality products.
- Collaborate with the production team to meet daily production targets.
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a safe and clean working environment.
- Perform routine maintenance on machines and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
- Record daily production and assist in inventory counts
- Load and unload rolls of paper as needed.
- Ensure the equipment is properly maintained and serviced and perform daily pre-shift inspections; ensure preventative maintenance and repairs are completed.
- Clean and maintain all responsible work areas in an organized manner.
- Other duties as assigned.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles
- Familiarity with Six Sigma methodologies
- Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
- Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience operating machinery
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Strong Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production targets
- Punctual - Comes to work every day and on time
- Respectful of coworkers and supervisors
- Hardworking
- Eager to learn multiple jobs and want to grow with the company
- Ability to pass a drug test
- You must be 18 years of age
- Physically able to lift 50 lbs. as needed
- Physically able to stand, bend/stoop, kneel, lift, reach and other physical tasks during an 8-10-hour shift.

Starting Pay Rate: From $18.00-$25.00 per hour (based on experience), plus $1.00/ hour attendance bonus.
Schedule:
Monday to Friday, day shift
Work Location: One location
Tompkinsville, KY (42167): Must commute or plan to relocate before starting work (Required)
