Machine Operator

Job Type: Full-Time

Starting Pay: $21/hour

Schedule: 1st Shift: 7:00 AM–3:30 PM | Crossover Shift: 10:30 AM–7:00 PM

Position Overview

SourceNow is hiring Machine Operators in Taylorsville to support the production of engineered laminate materials used in the aerospace industry.

This is a hands-on manufacturing role operating laminating and adhesive-mixing equipment while maintaining high standards for safety, quality, and production.

Responsibilities

• Operate and set up laminating and mixing equipment
• Monitor machine temperatures, pressure, tension, and other process conditions
• Mix and prepare adhesives according to production requirements
• Perform quality checks and collect production samples
• Move materials using forklifts, hoists, and other equipment
• Enter production and material information into computer systems
• Perform machine cleaning, changeovers, and routine adjustments
• Assist with troubleshooting and minimizing equipment downtime
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements

Requirements

Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Manufacturing experience or the ability to work safely in a production environment
• Basic computer skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Dependable, safety-minded, and team-oriented

Preferred:

• 3+ years of manufacturing or production experience
• Experience with laminating, coating, converting, or roll-to-roll processes
• Forklift experience
• Mechanical troubleshooting experience
• Experience working with adhesives or industrial equipment

Physical Requirements

• Ability to perform heavy lifting
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, pushing, and pulling
• Comfortable working around machinery, noise, adhesives, solvents, and other manufacturing materials
• Ability to wear required PPE
