Job Description

Position: Machine Operator

Pay: $22.50/hr

Shift: 7pm-7am, 2-2-3 rotating shift

Location: Sturtevant, WI

Responsibilities

• Operate site-specific equipment (injection molding, blow molding, or extrusion) to produce plastic products according to specifications
• Set up, repair, and troubleshoot machinery and processes
• Perform mold and neck finish changes as needed
• Conduct quality, system, and critical checks, maintaining accurate records
• Assist with machine start-ups, shut-downs, and minor repairs on production equipment

Qualifications

• Prior experience with blow molding, injection molding, or extrusion (HDPE, PET) preferred
• Industry experience is a plus
• Ability to drive a forklift and work in a fast-paced, heat-intensive environment
• Capable of sitting, standing, bending, climbing, crawling, walking, and maneuvering up to 50 pounds
• Strong communication and team skills

Skills

• Injection molding, blow molding, extrusion processes
• Troubleshooting: mechanical, pneumatic, electrical, hydraulic
• Material handling and mold changing
• Quality checks and production record keeping
• Preventative and minor repairs on conveyor systems and equipment
