Machine Operator

Pay Range: $16–$20/hour DOE

Location: Shreveport, LA

Employment Type: Full-Time

Schedule: Monday–Friday, either 7:30 AM–4:30 PM or 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, depending on the position.

Position Overview:

We are seeking dependable and mechanically inclined Machine Operators for multiple openings, including Expanding Operator, Press Operator, Molding Operator, and Grinder. These positions involve operating production equipment, monitoring machine performance, inspecting finished products, and maintaining quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, the ability to follow instructions, and a commitment to producing accurate, consistent work.

Responsibilities:

• Operate assigned machinery according to production instructions and established procedures.

• Set up, adjust, and monitor equipment to ensure proper operation and product quality.

• Load and unload materials and components as required.

• Inspect finished products for defects, measurements, and quality standards.

• Monitor production output and identify equipment issues or irregularities.

• Make routine adjustments as permitted by operating procedures.

• Use measuring tools and gauges to verify product specifications.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

• Follow all workplace safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment.

• Complete production records and report equipment malfunctions or quality concerns to supervisors.

• Assist with material handling and other production duties as needed.

Qualifications:

• Previous machine operation or manufacturing experience is preferred.

• Mechanical aptitude and the ability to learn to operate specialized production equipment.

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and production specifications.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

• Basic math and measurement skills.

• Ability to recognize product defects and report equipment issues.

• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive production tasks.

• Ability to lift and handle materials as required by the position.

• Dependable attendance, strong work ethic, and willingness to work as part of a production team.

• Commitment to maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
